Teacher Bio: Mr. Thierry is a filmmaker and activist from Beaverton, Oregon. He has a B.A. in Journalism from University of Oregon and an M.A. in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Howard University. His first film, "Footprints in the Struggle: The Beatrice Cannady Story" was nominated for a regional Emmy and his second film "The Black Fatherhood Project" has screened to live audiences across the US and Europe to critical community acclaim. He is most passionate about telling stories and inspiring social change.
